This little OVA uses some of the urban legends about UFOs and their historical antidotes
that conspiracy-theorists have been trying to expose for as long as I have been alive.
You will notice some ideas from movies like "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", "Star Gate" & etc. along
with TV shows and specials, even books with a list that is monumental.
With all that stuff, this show doesn't turn out to be hackneyed or stupid . . .
. . . in fact it really isn't about the UFOs so much as it is a really sweet love story.
The fans at AniDB & ANN seem to feel this is a Very Good show rating a solid 7.5+
This is one of the best Anime stories that I have ever seen.
The ending leaves a little more to be desired but it works..
I rate it a solid 9.5 . . . Excellent.
