It starts off a little slow and looking like To Heart but it takes a magical turn. There are a few episodes that are totally out of continuity for the anime but on the whole this is kind of interesting. The second season doesn't seem to be bad but I haven't seen much of it.
I think I only got to see one episode of DaCapo 2.

It's a little better than just comfortable anime and the little side episodes are a very special treat.
Overall I tend to give this a about a 7.
There's enough romance and conflict and it doesn't get too soap-opera-ish.
It kind of draws you in.
This one has some magic.

I've seen some bits of the "other" DaCapos and they are ok......
